Review by Brother Reed

Hollywood cries “wolf.” I cry “remake.” Audiences just cry.

I might as well do this kind of list while I’m single so as not to invite any undue jealousy. Is it weird? Yeah, kind of. Some of the women on this list are older than my mom, but Hollywood is a magical place where 26-year-olds play high school students and where enough cash buys you extended youth. Why this list? For one, because a lot of actresses don’t really get a break until they’re a little older anyway and so by the time they are established and have been doing movies for 10 years they’re about ready for this category anyhow. Second, if you can’t admit that a lot of these aging women are still looking really good in front of the camera, you’re not being honest with yourself. And third, there are just too many beautiful actresses under 40 – narrowing down that list to a reasonable size is a task I’m not ready for. Yet. Finally, I admit to being biased towards those whose acting I enjoy. Attractiveness is not just physical, after all.
